I am searching for the parents of Evan Zechariah born in Llanfihangel Ar Arth, Carmarthenshire about 1816. Any information regarding the Zechariah Family would be much appreciated.

My great grandmother was Askon Maria Zechariah. My son has been doing family tree research, he lives in Singapore at present (family gone full circle).

Askon Maria Zechariah was my great grandmother. I am trying to find out about her sister who came to England with her. It would be great if you have any info on her and her armenian family you could pass on to me.

All the names in your message are included in a book "Respected Citizens The History of Armenians in Singapore and Malaysia" which can be viewed at www.amassia.com.au/contents.htm.
My family tree has a Askon Maria Zechariah,c.1863, daughter of Isaiah Zechariah, unfortunately not your Isaiah nor those covered in the book!

Isaiah Zechariah

Need information on Isaiah Zechariah's birth date (about 1778) and place, he married in to 1824 Ashgen Arathoon daughter of Petrus Arathoon, Merchant of Madras, India. Isaiah died 1843 probably in Singapore. Believ he had 2 or 3 brothers, Gregory,Andrew and probably Carapiet. Anyone with any information on this family would help.
