Hi Garvin,
We are definitely related. Cousin Walter lived in Port Arthur, Texas. He worked for the refinery there and was married (can't remember his wife's name) and he had no children. They were all originally from the Abbeville area so you seem to have a lot of good information already. Cousin Gold lived in Grosse Isle, Louisiana. He still has children living in the same area. A daughter, I think Marie, lives in his old home, a son lives next door, etc. I remember him having two daughters and three or four sons. His wife was a Vallot. I think you called me the other morning, please write again.

My great grandfather was Pierre Prejean Sr and he was Pierre Prejean Jr and Marie Elia Prejean's father. Pierre Prejean Jr married Charlotte Glaude. AS his father Married Mathilda Glaude. Do you know how Mathilda and Charlotte were related or if they were related? Except for being In-laws. Johnathan do you know Hilda, Hazel. Theresa, Anna Bell and Clifton (deceased)? They are some of Elia Prejean and Pierre Zeno's grandchildren

Hello,

My father's name is also Ulysses Zenon and his father was Homer Zenon. French Creole is their primary language. They were born in Anse La Butte near Breaux Bridge in the parish of St. Martin. My Dad is 92 years old and lives in Lafayette. He is the last of a family of 10 brothers and sisters. His brothers were: Augustave, Armand, Emile, Pascual, Leonel. His sisters were: Anna, Mary, Ernestine. I can't remember the name of his other sister.

I believe I have heard my father mention an uncle named Adolph.

Have you learned any more about the Zenon family since you posted that you would be willing to share? I am just beginning to seek out our family history. Oh, I just remembered: my father always spoke of an uncle or great uncle (Jean-Louis Zenon) who had several wives and many children sired in different places in So. Louisiana. I believe he said he settled in Abbeville. I know that there are Zenons there, too.

Hi,

As you can see. I am a Zenon, too. And I am a junior. My father was born (as I and all my brothers and sisters were) in Anse La Butte, La. in November, 1911. There was a branch of the Zenon family there. The nearest town was Breaux Bridge in St. Martin Parish. The parish seat is St. Martinville.

My name is garvin zenon jr, my father is garvin zenon sr born in texas dec 1948, his father my grand father is william zenon born in PortArthur Texas i beleave April 7 1906,and beleaved to have died in Abbeville,Vermillion,LOUISIANA April 10 1957,he was married to my grandmother Relmer zenon.My grandfather William was beleaved to have had atleast 5 or 6 brothers and sisters,there names are walter zenon, ada zenon, ivery zenon, meggie zenon,and maclyn zenon, but i havent found any aol info on him. my grandfather william zenon father was Joseph Zenon beleaved to born in the year of 1867, and dieng in Jan 1, 1951 Location unknown. Joseph Zenon Had a Fahter Beleaved To be Joseph Zenon SR, if AT ALL I NEED ALL INFO ON BIRTHPLACE ,DEATH PLACE, WIVES NAMES,
OTHER CHILDREN OR BROTHERS OR SISTERS, that can help me find out who my family is. Futher info i got is that Joseph Zenon sr.Was beleaved to be married to Mary,or marie LuVilna (im not sure if name spelling is right, or even if that was his wifes name). My greatgrand father Joseph Zenon Jr. Was beleaved to have been married to Ursula LeBlanche who died 1914 in AbbeVille Louisiana ( also not sure if name spelling is right, or even if thats his wifes name. futher info, I know that ther is a Ada Zenon in our family that was born Oct 30,1904 and died June,1979, last know residence was AbbeVille Louisiana, and there is also a Adolph Zenon Born May 22,1904 and died Sept 17,1982, last know residence was Breaux,Breaux, Saint Martin, Louisiana, and also there was a Golden Zenon born April 1,1900 and died Oct 1974, last know residence AbbeVille, Louisiana.
