Surnames: Zimmerman, Porter, Reed
My great great grandfather was James Notley Zimmerman, married Mary Ann Porter 14 Dec 1837, in McLean, IL. It is believed that he was born in KY, 6 Feb 1815. It is possible that his parents were William Zimmerman and Fanny Hawkins Reed, but I can't make a definite connection. James has a brother, William, and possibly a sister Amanda. Any help?
