Miss Lillie Viola Dotson
The funeral of Miss Lillie Viola Dotson, a resident of the five-mile post on Old Augusta Road, who died yesterday following an extended illness, will take place from the residence this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Rev Lon L Day, pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Cherokee Hill Cemetery.
A native of Savannah, Miss Dotson was the daughter of the late Samuel and Salina Zipperer Dotson. Miss Dotson is survived by a sister, Mrs Laura Merchant of Savannah; and 3 brothers, John T G C and J H Dotson of Savannah and B Dotson of Jacksonville .
