I have an original carte de visite photograph on the back of which is written “George Zirbes – Born Oct 15, 1848 – died Nov 22, 1899”. I would like to get this photo back to family members. Photo was taken in about 1875, and George looks to be about age 28-30.

I found George Zirbes in the WI Vital Records, born Oct 15, 1848, son of Phillip and Elizabeth Zirbes of Racine (Racine Co.) WI. In the 1860 census, George was age 11. Records show he died in Racine, WI.
