At the age of 32, Stefan Zaloga immigrated to the United States from Zalogi, Russia-Poland arriving 23 April 1910 in New York on the S.S. Oldenburg. The Oldenberg left Bremen on 10 April 1910 and Stefan was ticketed in steerage class. The ship manifest indicates his father Josef Zaloga (contradicts the Feliks name) as a relative in the country of origin and his uncle, Boleslav Zmijewski, as a point of contact in the US. His uncle was living at 38 23rd Street, Brooklyn, NY. Arrived with $50 in assets. He is traveling with his brother Wladislaw Zaloga.
Anyone know the connection of these two families?
