MUSCATINE - Theodora 'Teddi' C. Zorich, 48, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000.
Services will be at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. Bernard Weir of the St. Mary's Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
'Teddi' was born on March 11, 1952, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of George and Mary Popcheff of Speedway, Indiana.
She was a graduate of Purdue University. She married Christopher D. Zorich on Aug. 7, 1976, in Speedway, Indiana. They moved to Muscatine in 1979.
'Teddi' was employed by the Lutheran Social Services in the START Program. She had served on the Little League Board of Directors and had been active with Hayes Home and School. She was a member of the TTT Chapter GB and the PEO Chapter MM. 'Teddi' was instrumental in the organization of the Muscatine Safe Streets Program. She attended the St. Mary's Church.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Zorich; two sons, David and Michael Zorich, all of Muscatine; her mother, Mary Popcheff; three brothers, Tom, Tony and Ed Popcheff, all of Speedway, Indiana; as well as her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
