Zulick Family Tree? I am a descendant of Michael Zulick and Mary Zulick née Lahaotsky. Emigrated from NE Hungary near the Polish line. A town called Certezne.

They emigrated in the late 1800s, were Greek Orthodox and eventually settled in Coaldale, Pa.

Please let me know if you have any relevant info.

I'm having trouble tracing this lady. She was said to be born in Baden, Germany, but I have also seen a Zulic/Zulich/Zulick born in Tattnall Co., Georgia. She married William Drawdy, an upper-crust grower and Rev. War Vet, & Jurist, in Jasper, Georgia (Pickens County, I think)in 1812. They lived the rest of their lives in Wayne Co., Georgia.

I'm looking everywhere for her parents . . . surely she didn't make the crossing alone!? I will next be looking hard at ships manifests for her passage to America, but as you all know, ships logs are far from being fully transcribed, especially prior to 1900.

Does anyone have a clue about Zulicks in Georgia pre 1812?

I don't know if you are around 37-39 years old now, but I used to have a penfriend named Laura Zulick when I was about 11-13.I live in Melbourne, Australia and I think Laura lived in Butler PA but I'm not too sure. I caught up a few years later,via mail, with the Laura I knew ,who was married but I can't remember if she had kids or not. I am curious to see how she is,if she is happy, how her life has turned out, how she has changed etc and maybe start the correspondence again but via email this time around......
I used to be Cathy Dickie but from the age of 14 was Cathy Munro. I am married now but have kept the name Munro which is my mother' s maiden name. I hope you are her or you know of her. All the best and thanks
