My grandmother's name is Mary Petsche Kump. She was born in Gottesche on June 10, 1889. She married my grandfather, Ernest Joseph Kump, who was born on March 29, 1988 in New York. They had 2 children, my father Peter, and my uncle Ernest. The family moved to Bakersfield,CA where the boys were raised. They lived in a community of folks from "the old country."
