My grandfather's name was Edward Zurich. He ran off and married Catherine Skiba. They lived in New Jersy and had nine kids. They both spoke some polish. My grandfather's family owned a farm in Conneticut or Yonkers New York, so the story goes. It is almost impossible to find out any information on this mysterious name! The only other Zurich is in Switzerland! Go figure...
