Hi Zywicki Researchers:
Zywicka, Zywicki, Milewski, Tylicka, Tylicki, Balcerzak, Lazcynski
I don't know if our Zywicki lines may match up in the "old country" or not...one of my grandmother's best friends was Jessie..I think this may have been the Americanized form of Josepha--Josephine.
Last known address (prior to 1962) for my paternal Grandmother's "best friend" was: Jessie Zawicky; 2413 W. 5th St.; Duluth, Minnesota
Family legend also has it that Veronica Winnifred Wisniewski's paternal grandmother was a Zywicki. They came from the Inowroclaw/Bydgoszcz area of Poland.
I have recently established that these grandparent came to the USA and were present at the wedding of thier son Jan WISNIEWSKI to Eleanor NOWAK (Married in Shamokin, PA: February 13, 1893).
Jan and his family of 5 moved from Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania to Cudahy, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin in 1900.
I am sending this info on the above listed Surnames--it is only 3 records--and I'm sure there are more--but I just extracted the ones which were related to my family...
The following families attended St. Adalbert's and Holy Family Polish Catholic Churches in Cudahy and South Milwaukee:

If you are familiar with any of these person, please contact me.
Family oral tradition says that the Wisniewski's and Nowak's were related to the Zywicki's....I do not know what their Port of Departure was--nor their Port of Entry...but they first settled in Luzerne and Northumberland Counties in Pennsylvania...then around 1900 they re-located to Milwaukee County, Wisconsin...another branch re-located to around Duluth, Minnesota...
I look forward to hearing from you or any other persons researching this family
