Charles Lewis Tiffany (Comfort, Ebenezer, James Jr., James, Humphrey) was b. Feb. 15, 1812 d. Feb. 18, 1902. He married Nov. 30, 1841 in Connecticut to Harriet Olivia Avery Young (1817-1897) the daughter of Ebenezer Young and Anna Burnett (Anna's mother's name was Susan Avery). Harriet had a brother John Burnett Young. CharlesTiffany and John Burnett Young were boyhood friends and when they decided to go to New York to open a dry good store they borrowed money from Charles' father Comfort Tiffany.
