Looking for Kendley family (possible spelled Kindley)living in Wisconsin about 1855 or later. Possibly came from Canada. Two first I have are Christian and Oren.

We are related to the Kendley's. Palmer Kendley was my husband's great grandfather, his parent's were Edward Kendley and Catharine Sullivan. They lived in the Stephensville area of Wisconsin. From what we know they came New York, possibly Ireland before that. There are also Kendley's (from Edward's third wife) that lived in the Crandon area.

Long time since we exchanged information. I found our Oren E. Kendley in New London, WI. Do you have any idea how Palmer and Oren are related. Oren is old enough to be Palmer's father, not that he is, I'm just stating age difference. Oren came with his parents from Canada to WI when he was very young. He must have stayed there until he ventured off to SD and eventually ND. He married (1st marriage) in WI. It didn't last. His second marriage was to a Whitney in Medora, ND. Was Palmer the child of the 1st or 2nd wife of Edward. I think the E. for Oren's middle name is possibly Edward. There was another Oren Kendley also born about 1931 living in WI. I'll see if I can find the site that I found him on. I'll get back to you.
