I am searching for my great-aunt, Veda Grace RANSOM (b: March 2, 1893 in Woodbury Co., Anthon, IA - d: April, 1982 in Barrington, IL). On her 'delayed' birth certificate, she provides evidence of her marriage date/location as December 8, 1915 in Winnebago Co., Wisconsin to Mr. A. L. BURR. Veda's parents are George Washington RANSOM and Mary Ella (aka "Nellie") BAYS /or/ BAYES. I know nothing about A.L. Burr, but would like to find more. Do you think there may be a connection to your BURR family since Winnebago County is very near Outagamie County?
