I am looking for ANY information concerning the surname Agema. My great grandfather is Maarten or Martin Agema. He married Trintje Veenstra (date and location unknown) somewhere in Friesland (possibly Leeuwarden). My grandmother's madien name is Janke or Jennie Agema. I am trying to find Martin Agemas sister Deutje (if she was married, any children, where she lived, ect.) and I am also trying to find any other siblings of Martin or Jennie Agema.

Thank you.

I believe your mother may be relation (as well as yourself). My father is Theodore Agema
son of Joseph Agema. They are from the town of Falmouth, in Aetna county, MI. I think Abe Agema may be the
brother of Joseph Agema. I have a family website on MyFamily.com that has some of the information entered.
The family tree area has the most info and there are pictures of the great grandfather and his family. It is password
required to view ... let me know if you are interested and I will send you an invitation w/password.

Wow! That is so wonderful. Yes, Abe was my grandpa. I've heard many great stories about that side of my family. I'd love to visit your site, Jim.

Thanks for the reply. I will need you to send your
e-mail address to me at: jim@agema.net so that I
can send you an invitation to the MyFamily.com website.
The message board here does not display your e-mail
address for privacy reasons.

Hopefully, there is a connection of our families (as I
am sure anybody with the Agema surname probably is somewhere)
and that it will help us connect the Agema genealogy together.

Have a nice day and look forward to your reply.

Glad to have you participate in the family history research.

Send me your e-mail address to: jim@agema.net

and I will send you an invite and password to the Agema Family
website I have created on MyFamily.com. Your sister has been there
already and has told me how you are related via Abe Agema, son of Theodore
(Tjipke) Agema. I have also had contact lately with Rene Brown, our cousin,
grandaughter of Rena Agema, Abe's sister. Also, am trying to contact Larry Agema,
grandson of John T. Agema, Abe's brother.

Things are happening in the family genealogy.
Glad to have you join the fun and look forward to any and all
information you can supply for your side of the family.

Thanks
