My great grandmother was Katherine Jane Arison, from Fayette County, Pa. Do you have any Arrison/Arison from that area?

Hello from Euless,
I read your message about Arason/Arrison. I have a Rosetta Arrison b:26 May 1765, Washington, Sussex Co, NJ; m:23 Feb 1783, Sussex Co, NJ to Hugh Shotwell. She died 1836. Her father is John Arason and his father is Jeptha Arason. Any information about their line and children would be greatly apprecitated.

We have been able to trace our ancestors back one generation before the Civil War to our g,g,g,grandfather. They are from the Philadelphia area. Anyone out there with Arrison ancestors from Phila?

I just posted a message on the Board. My g,g,grandfather is from Phila. He was killed in the Civil War. His father lived in Trenton, NJ at that time. We have a list of most of the relatives back to the Civil War and the name Jane appears often. Would like to hear from you.

Have found several variations of the Arrison name. (e.g. Arsen, Hreson, Harrison,Aersen to name a few). Our ancestors were from the Philadelphia area. Have gone back to my g,g,grandfather. His name was Charles Lewis Arrison and he was killed at the second Battle of Bull Run in the Civil War. Have a full family tree since then. Also think that we have located his father, my g,g,g,gf. His name was Samuel D and he lived in Trenton NJ.

I am still stumbling around with these message boards. Not sure how to send a mssg to a specific person.

My g,g,grandmother was Catharine (Lynch) Arrison. The second a in her first name is the way she spelled it. She lived in Phila. She was married to Charles Lewis Arrison who was killed in the second Battle of Bull Run in the Civil War. They had two children, Orlando Alvin Arrison and my g, grandfather Elwood Lewis Arrison.

We also think we have Charles Lewis Arrison's father, Samuel D. Arrison, but are not sure on this. Still checking.

Would like to hear from you on your family tree. Since they are all from Penna we may have come ancestors in common.
