Do you have anyone in your family by the name of Stanko or Magdaline called Maggy. They had a son John I think he was adopted. My family talked about a niece I think named Rose and Annie.Stanko was my Dad's cousin. My family came from Ribnik Yugoslavia. Surname: Baich, Ropar. Am interested in your family line if there is any connection.

Unfortunately I have no evidence to any connection. However that does not mean there may not be one. Good luck in your search.

My Grandfather is Dusan (Daniel) Baic (Baich) He came to the Buffalo, NY USA with his brothers. Ibelieve there were three brothers, Nicholas, Peter and a third unknown. They moved to Detroit and then Wisconsin. The brother's stayed put while my Grandfather Daniel came to Buffalo, NY. Daniel was born in Zagreb, Croation on August 15, 1896. I believe his mother's name is Josha, but do not know his father's name. Just wondering if any of this informaion matches to any information anyone else has. I have nor been able to prove that the brother's came together as I was told. The ship Manifest only show Daniel. Daniel and his wife Agnes Hodel Baich had 4 children, Anna (my Mom), Stephen, Adam and Peter. Thank you for any information. John Cyna
