Hi,

I really have not had time to get to this side of my family, but when I saw your post that mentioned Mary, I had to ask. I have a Mary Boness that married William F. Zimmerman. If this is possibly the same Mary, I would appreciate any other info you might have. I know they lived around Chicago sometime around 1914, because my grandmother was born in Chicago then. Many thanks in advance!!

Lived in Wi. Had been born in Germany. 6/2/1884 Died in 12/17/1954. She had a brother named Paul. Any information anyone might have, jump in and add it. Thanks Phyllis

I am looking for descendents of Boness from Prussia. My grand father was born in 1875 and I am looking for descendents of his brothers.

My grandmother, Elise b. 1884, was the daughter of John and Margaret Boness of Ozone Park, Queens County, not far from Brooklyn. She had 2 sisters, Catherine and Margaret and one brother Richard. The SSDI lists Boness names in New York area that I do not recognize, but I think could possibly be cousins. They were originally from Stettin and we had contact with the family there uuntil after World War II.

My great-grandmother was Anna Margaret Yaeger Boness of Brooklyn. Her children were Anna Katherine, Anna Elise, Anna Marguerite and Richard Boness. Can you provide any other info so I can see if you fit in this line. There were several Boness families during this period of time. You can research vital records at www.italiangen.org.

2-Anna D. Boness age 29, wife of John I. Boness 32, mother of Sarah 12, William 8, Grace 6, John 4 and Samuel 2.
