My father was William Urban Bowdoin. He was born in 1944 and lived in Monroe County his whole life. My grandfather was William Alexander Bowdoin who also lived in Monroe County. He was married to Clyde Bowdoin. I am not sure of my great grandfather's name, but I can find out. I would appreciate any information you could give me.

Brittany...many of my family names were William...I know one of my fathers William Bowdoin is buried in Alabama as i mentioned before. His great grand father I believe. His father was also a William I can't think of his middle name. We are loking for his grand father who at one time lived in Sacromento area as well other states. He was living in California in 1852 after having migrated from the south maybe Georga.
I believe his name was William B. Bowdoin. you have a copy of the U.B. March "Bowdoin" book? I barrowed my dads so I may be able to look up some things you may want to know , however the information is some what limited as all were not covered in the book. The auther self published after he had acumulated so much info on the family. Our family is some what listed in part. I will look ovrr the names you gave me and see if I can find any thing on them.
