I'm just getting started in researching the history of my mother's family, originally a Brodrick. Her parents were from St. Paul/Minneappolis, and they later moved to New Orleans. Any contacts are welcomed.

Hello ,
My name is James Brodrick and i am also searching for my family tree. I live in England and my fathers name is A.J Brodrick, born in Shropshire, England in around 1940's. His Father was Arthur James Brodrick but thats as much as i know. I understand that the name is Irish so it has a massive connection with the U S . especially around Ohio and Kentucky. I am 23 years of age and live in Brighton ( England )

Hi Mike
My wife has been researching her family and we found that Katie Brodrick married William
Manke in St. Paul. They are my wifes great grandparents. She died in 1901 at the age of
34 in Duluth, MN.

We found her death certificate in the Duluth
courthouse. It said her father's name was
Bartley Broderick and it looked like her mother's name was Doritt Kehoe? Kenow? etc.
The writng was hard to read.

Note the spelling of the last name. I have seen it spelled both Brodrick and Broderick.
I have not included any dates because I am not at home but if you give me your email
address I will send you more info.

My email is rodlarsonsafetran@worldnet.att.net.

Good Luck
Rod
