I noticed your message. My great grandfather was Matthew Thomas Bovitt,(Buvidas) from Lithuanian. He lived in Forest City, Pa. Do you know where your father lived? Did he have a farm in Susquehanna, Pa?Is it possible that these two men are related?

Dear Kathleen: I am your cousin Debbie, granddaugther of Anthony and Anna Bovitt. My mother is your cousin Shirley. I knew Uncle Danny well and have not seen him in many years. I had heard that he had died. I believe his new wife has Great Grandmother Bovitt's sewing machine which I am interested in. Uncle Johnny had promised it to me many years ago before he died but I was unable to retrieve it. How is your family? Is your mother still alive? I have not spoken to any part of the family that is living outside of Pennsylvania since I have been married. Do you have any information concerning our great grandparents? I am trying to locate the ship they may come to America on and if they came through Ellis Island. I believe the name has been changed but I do not know when or why. Any information would be appreciated. I hope to get to the cemetary in Forest City to check on some grave stones this summer. Hope to hear from you soon. Debbie

I have just read all your messages. I was wondering if you were related to BUIVYDAS. My great great grandfather was Joseph Buivydas.
