I have a John Caudle married to Fredonia O'Hara in my tree. They were married in 1860 and had 3 children.
John b. 1862 d. 1923, Benjamin b 1863 d 1937 and Mary b 1864.
He was my gggrandfather. I have more info if you would like it. Do you have any more information on John's parents?

I am trying to help a family member with research. His father was Loren Caudle, born in Ullin, Il, his grandfather was Hugh Caudle, and Hugh's father was John Caudle, who had a brother named Ben. Sounds like the same family. Would appreciate if you had anything to share. From what I can tell, John Sr must have died, and Fredonia remarried Joseph Bird. They lived in Pulaski County, Il.
