Hi,

I have two questions. First, did any of your Dalidio's ever live in or near San Luis Obispo, CA?

Second, do you know more about Michele Caporgno's family? I have a Maria Guista Caporgno/Camporgno in my brother in law's file. She was born abt 1797 in/near Someo, Switzerland.

Hi,
The only information I have on Michele Caporgno is: Michele Donato Caporgno b. 1843, youngest of 11 known children.
Parents: PEZZONI, Anna Maria b.1798. CAPORGNO, Giacomo Pietro b.1789
Giacomo Pietro CAPORGNO's sister was Maria Justa Giacomina CAPORGNO, b.1787. Their youngest sister's name was Maria Gusta b.1800. I have nothing on this person.
I have ancestral lines for the above people, if it sounds like the people you are researching, let me know and I can send you all the information I have gathered so far.
As to the DALIDIO side. There is a very high probability that the DALIDIOs that migrated to USA, may have accompanied the TOGNAZZINI families that migrated to the USA, as TOGNAZZINI married DALIDIO in 1829
Hope this has been of some use to you.
All dates/events mentioned above occured in Someo

Don't have any information you need, but my great-great grandfather was Giacomo Pietro Dalidio (born 1825 in Someo, his mother's name was Giovanna Maria Tognazzini). He married Marianna Filippini (born 1837 in Cevio) on June 11, 1851 in Cevio. Perhaps related somehow.

Their grandchild, Marino Bondietti (my grandmother's cousin) will be 100 years old May 10. We are meeting for a birthday luncheon this Sunday to celebrate!

Elizabeth Dalidio married Pietro Tognazzini, and one of their daughters Madelena married Mauritzio Morganti on 4th march 1862 in Victoria, Australia.
My husband Jack Morganti is their great grandson.
We have a very comprehensive family tree on the Morgantis, and some correspondence with a relative in California.
I have only just read your message, so maybe you already have all the info you need. regards, Jone Morganti

Hi Jone,
My great great grandmother was Maddalena's oldest sister, Maria-Susannah. I have most of her descendants information, as well as some of the other sister Guiditta's family.
Please send me an email, so we can correspond further.

Hi, I am the granddaughter of Pompeo Righetti from Someo. He is a grandson of Maria Justa Caporgno & Guiseppe Righetti. Pompeo married Elvira Bonetti of Someo. Elvira's sister Flora Bonetti married Valente Tognazzini and they were somehow related to Dalidio in Camarillo CA. Most of my family settled in San Luis Obispo & Cayucos, CA. I have many relatives in Someo that I am researching. If I can be of any help, just let me know. Thanks. Colleen Holcomb, Salinas, CA

Not sure if you can help me. But is there any way there is a relation between the family members you mentioned and Ennio Peter Righetti of Edna Valley. He was my great grandfather. E.P. Father was Robertino Righetti.

Thankyou Lynette Righetti Williams

Hi, I don't know if we are connected. If you know the name of Robertinos parents, that might help. I have some Righetti's who married other Righetti(some from Italy). I found Robertino married to Ermenea Bonetti (1865-1891) & lived in San Luis Obispo, CA. My grandmother was Elvira Bonetti Righetti and lived in Cayucos, near San Luis Obispo.Ennio had brothers, Guido & Harold I think. There is a Steiner family history on Rootsweb, do you know them? Let me know any other info you may have and I'll compare it with my family history. Thanks for writing. Colleen
