I just started researching my family tree on my mother's side of the family. I do not know much except my Grandfathers name was Anthony Dantuono (I'll have to try a different spelling) He was born in Naples, Italy in 1892 emigrated to the United States and married Margaret Cogliano. They had 9 children and resided in Flushing, New York. My grandfather died in October 1959. If anyone can help to send me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. I do not know how to begin looking for European birth records.

I have some Dantuano's in my family tree also from Flushing. Do you have any names that you could send me? There is an Anthony Dantuano and a Louise Dantuano who were my father's cousins. My grandmother was Pasquelena (Cogliano) Ciccarono. Do any of these names sound familiar.

My grandmother Margaret (Cogliano) Dantuono had a sister Lena who was married to John Ciccarono and had two children Joseph and Andrew.
My grandparents Margaret (Cogliano) and Anthony Dantuono had 9 children: Louise (Angelides), Rose (Trimarco), Mary (Fogarty) , Frank, Joseph, Anthony, Daniel, Dorothy (Carl) & Margaret (Corrigan).
Please e-mail me at corriganmm@aol.com if this information matches with the information you have.

We are related. Lena Cogliano was my grandmother and Joseph Ciccarono was my father.

It's nice to have finally contacted a cousin. Any other information you can provide on the Cogliano family would be appreciated. I can't seem to find any information on our great-grandparents.

Thank you,

your cousin
Patti (Ciccarono) Gleason

Noted your mention of the surname Caraccio. I am interested in one Giacommo (James) Caraccio father Carlo who in 1916 married my great aunt Alice Reed in London, G.B. I have been unable to locate the family on the 1901 GB census ofr the 1891 London Census. Wonder if you have any info on Caraccios in London G.B.

I am researching the surname of Trimarco that I see you mention. Where is your Trimarco from? Any Senerchia, Italy or Chicago connections? Would love to hear from you.
