Ludwig Dase, My Grandfather was Edmund Dase and
my grandmother was Betha Buchholz. Thats as much

My G grandmother was Anna Dase from near Winduga, Lipno parish,Poland. My grandfather, her son was Herman Tober,b. 1883 in Winduga at the Prakshof farm. They were German Lutherans (culturally),subjects of the Czar. I estimate her birth at 1857, since the first born Rudolf Tober (called Julius)was b.1876. The rest of the siblings: Emilie,b.1877,Adolf,b.1881,Albertina,b.1885,Karl, b.1886,and Otto,b.1890. Emilie married a Wollenburg, and escaped West at the end of WWII. Herman,Karl and Otto came to the Buffalo,NY area. It can always be a best bet to check the FHL microfilms for the Lutherasn parish. People very often married neighbors. I have an ancestor by that name from Poland. Born in the late 1800's sometime. He immigrated to Canada and the name changed to Dawes.
