Most of my FADE's ended up in Texas. Who were your grandparents /or your great grandparents? If you will let me know, I'll compare them against my database and let you know what connections I already have. June Sells

I have some history on the Fade Family. On the paternal side my great parents were John Breckenridge Fade and Martha Ruff, Walter Preston Fade was one of his sons. My father is Walter Wayne Fade. I have two sisters, Patricia and Cynthia. I am trying to find out information on Tennessee the mother of Martha Ruff. Any information you could provide concerning the Fade family or the Ruff family would be greatly appreaciated.

Hi, Deborah,
Your John Breckenridge Fade was half-brother to my Willis Edward Fade. Their father was John H (Heath?) Fade. I don't have any information on the ancestry of his wives, but I do have information on many of his children by these wives. John H Fade was born in Ohio; married both wives in Clark Co,ARK; he died in DeSoto, Comanche Co, TX. His father, John Fade, was a Revolutionary soldier in the PA line. I will be happy to share information with you. You may contact me privately at rsellstd1@aol.com (*note that the address ends in the number 'one').
