Looking for information on a John Edward FEHILY. He was my fathers, father. I have little info, that he died in North Adams, Mass. The year, I am not sure of. Between the years 1923 - 1926.

Hi Janet My gg grandfather was a William Fehily of Ballymacoda Ireland He had a brother John who died in 1851 or so.William brought Johns kids Maurice and Mary to USA in December of 1851 Any clues? Don

Janet, John Edward Fehily 1897-1927 was the son of John Fehily and Mary Ann Butler. Both John Edward and his father John are buried in Old St. Paul's cemetery in Mechanicville, NY. John Edward had a twin brother William Gordon and they were born 22 Dec 1897. John Fehily was my 2nd great uncle, he was my great grandfather's brother. There were 4 brothers that came to the US. Thomas, John, Michael and Charles. Michael Fehily was my great grandfather. Thomas, John and Michael are buried in Old St. Paul's Cemetery. Charles spelled his surname Feeley.

Hi there is a Jeremiah Fehily sailed from Queenstown, Cobh, Co. Cork 18/03/1903 aged 20y. he was single from Clonakilty, and sailed on the Etruria this along with image you can find on immigration website. hope this is a help my Grandmother was a daughter of Patrick Fehily Ballineen, originally from Clonakilty or Creagmore/Lissavard area. Hi - my grandfather was William Gordon Fehily, who was married to Margaret Theresa Healy (of Pittsfield, MA). William Gordon Fehily died in 1976, and Margaret Theresa Fehily died in 1978, both in Pittsfield, MA.

Hi, Francis, Thanks for the lovely poem and the family photo history they are great. I've looked up 2 cencus records and dont see your grandfathers name there, I'know that one of Patrick's daughters married Tim O'Donovan. You sign your name as Francis Fehily how are you related to Patrick Fehily snr. the arcade? Im his great grandaughter. Im very interested in any inforation you have, as I've done a lot of research, on the family.

Hi, I am Frank O'Donovan and my grandfather was Patrick who was a drapers clerk as per 1911 Census http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Cork/Boulte...He was unmarried at that time. Click on his name to get his parents and his entry on the Census. I think Tim Donovan was a doctor (?) but I don't believe we are related. Cheers Frank
