I am looking for any information on Blanche Evelyn Feilen born in 1912 in Auburn, NE. She was my wife's great grandmother.
My grandmother was a FEILEN and born near Auburn. Blanche is not a name of one of her siblings, but perhaps you can give me more information on her. Who and where did she marry. The immigrant of the FEILENS in Nebraska was Nickolas and he settled in Otoe County, which is the next county north of Auburn, Nemaha Co. NE.
Glad to help,
Blanche was born on June 4, 1912 at Auburn, Nebraska. I have no info on her parents or siblings. She married Earl Dougherty and they had three children: James Eugene, Earl Jr, and Betty Jean. Earl Sr died and Blanche married Clyde McGuire (who I'm told is still alive-unknown address) Clyde officially adopted Blanche's children and all three took his name, McGuire. James McGuire is my wife's paternal grandfather. With the exception of James, my understanding is that everyone else remained in Nebraska. James came to the Kansas City area which is where we live.
If I can assist any further, please don't hesitate to write.
Hope all is well this 4th. I found some info on Blanche in a write-up on Nicholas and Rosalia (WOCHNER)FEILEN.
