Hi, just saw your posting on Gahm. We are researching Lamberson and Gahm in Kansas.A Richard Sherd Lamberson married a Gahm, there were several in 1910 census.Emma Gahm, Ida Gahm, Obery Gahm, Mary Gahm.I believe in Crawford county.Do any of these names sound familiar to you? Our Lamberson was in Ohio and came to Kansas. Originally he was from Scotland and also worked the coal mines in Kansas. He was my GGGrandfather. Please email me at browning@cameron.net

Hi, even though I got your email I wanted to post to let people know how success stories can happen. My Dad is calling you I believe as I type this, you and he would be cousins I think. He has been working adn searching this group of Lambersons about 4 years now. Richard Sheridan" Sherd" Lambersom married a Minnie Murray, they had several children one being Bernice, my GGrandmother. After Minnie died Richard married a Agnes Lamberson, or Emma.Dad is more clear on this.I believe she came to the marriage with 4 kids and they were from Scotland? They were married in Kansas. This is where Bernice Lamberson married Edward Long.I visited Bernice Lamberson at her farm when I was a small child. They had geese and a mule.Very poor. And she was a short woman with Long grey braids in her hair. She still cooked on a wood type stove in the kitchen of this old farmhouse. This my only memory of the Lambersons, my father will have more. Its nice to meet you. Kim Long Browning

Kim: I was wondering if you might have any information leading to when the Gahm brothers or cousins came from Germany, some where around 1835 and landed in New york harbor at Ellis Island. If so the ships records that might help me in finding out where in Germany they came from. My Dad's records that He had I have now. He believes that they came from Badan (Bouvaria) Germany. Thanks for your help.

I haven't been doing much in ancestry for a while. the pictures you found of Emma Gahm Brown isn't of
my mother. She and Dad left Kansas about 1920 and moved to Oklahoma. I hope you find who they belong to. I think it is wonderful that you are trying to find her family.
