Looking for descendants of my great uncle. First name is unknown.
His parents were: Girolamo & Maria Antonia (Incerrefuto)Garofalo.
Oringinally from Partinico, Sicily, Italy.
I believe this great uncle died in California in the early 1950's.

check with garofalo or garafolo who is looking for family of same name from calif. my family garofalo cames from castellammare del golfo, new york, penn.

My great great grandmother's sister Mary married a garafolo-I do not know his name-Hers was Mary Rancatore Garafolo. She had a son named Tom-I do not know where they lived-but she was from Trabia Italy originally and her sister my great great grandmother Josephine Rancatore Lascola lived in Louisina,New York and Pa.

I have a grandmother named Mary Garofalo who married a Casey Stagno. She died in 1980. She has/had relatives in New York whom we visited in 1958 I believe they lived in the Bronx but not really sure.
When she arrived in CA I don't know. Believe she married young about 1911 at age 16 but not sure. Her parents probably brought her out to CA from NY but not sure. If her father was Girolamo and Maria it may be your connection.
