Ida Marie Hader (Redmon) passed away April 9, 1996. Jacqueline Curtis (Redmon) is also deceased, but I do not know the date (about 3 years ago). Ida's sons are me (Micheal Lee Hader bd. 4/14/50) and Ray Alan Hader (bd. 5/30/56). Ray is actually Jackie's son adopted by Ida & Don Hader. Jackie had 2 other daughters, Julianna Marie Curtis and Princess Jane Curtis. They are both in Idaho, last I heard.

I married Judith Irene Young on 9/6/69 and we have 5 children: Kristina Irene Hader (4/7/70), Micheal Jason Hader (12/26/72), Bethany Lynn Hader (4/6/80), Jennifer Marie Hader (2/11/82) and Daniel John Hader (8/19/84). Kristina is now married to John Randall Thomas and has 2 daughters.

I never knew that John's middle name was Burl. Donald's middle name is Burle. I still remember going places with you and John when I was little. I didn't recognize your name right off, sorry.

We live in Tennessee (Nashville area) having moved here in 1991. Kristi and Jason are both still in California.

If I can help in any way, I'll be glad to. My cousin Roxanne, has a lot of the Hader family tree and I can get it from her.

I remember when you lived on Artesia St. in Buena Park. Everyone called you Mickey then. Sorry to hear about Jackie. Johnnie and I visited her in Los Angeles when she was pregnant with Ray. After Johnnie left both Ida and I worked at Kraft Foods in Buena Park. I went on to Pacific Telephone and I think she went to Sheriffs Department. Julie and John would bring the little girls to visit over at my parents to see Tim and Mike. I have tried to find Julia and John death certificates but no luck.

No one ever told me what happened regarding you & Johnnie other that he "disappeared". I guess they thought I was too young or something. I just remember liking both of you very much.

I did not even know that Ray was Jackie's son until she died and Ray called me. He said something to the effect that Jackie may have been his birth mom, but mom (Ida) was his real mom. I asked him what he meant. He just assumed that I knew. It hit me like a ton of bricks. Certain aspects of that part of both the Hader & Redmon families drive me nuts sometimes. There were lot's of things I only ever knew fragments of. Oh, well....I guess it just happens that way sometimes. I guess it's why I do not feel real close even to Dad.

John Redmon's death occured in Kingman, Az. Did you check records there? Julia died in either Twin Falls, ID or Jerome, ID. Ida died in Hendersonville, Sumner County, TN. I know nothing about any great-grandparents in John's or Julia's side. I do know that there were also some original settler Mormons in the family. Grandma told me about them in 1984. Their surnames were Meeks and Meachem and we actually found their pictures in the Pioneer museum in Salt Lake City in 1990 when we were there. I have not done any further research on them.

Jane and Julie were still in the Twin Falls area the last I heard. Ray might know for sure. I only ever hear from them when they need money. They never write or anything.

Mike (or Mick as some people still call me and I don't mind. Actually, I sometimes wish I had kept the nickname, lol).

Ida had a tubular pregnancy after you were born, she almost died. I beleive she had a hysterectomy at that time. Anyway she could no longer have children. Both Ida and Don had wanted more children. When Jackie became pregnant it was just accepted by the family that Ida and Don would adopt the baby. I don't think Jackie could have gone against the family. Julie was an unmovable force at times. Julie was working at the Boys and Girls Club at the time. Every Sunday we would all go to Julie and John's for dinner. This continued for us untill I left Johnny.
Ida was one of the hardest working people I ever knew.
