In regard to Haese's near San Antonio. My grandmother was Emma Haese, her parents came from Germany, Alsace-Lorraine. Came into Galvaston, I believe and went to a small town called D'hanis, west of San Antonio. I believe there was a brother of her father that came along, as well.

My grandmother is Ruby Mae Haese, her parents also
came from Germany and settled in D'Hanis. She had a
sister named Emma that married into the Britz family.
My mother mentions a cousin by the name of Donnie Mae
Britz. My grandmother Ruby had 12 brothers and sisters.
