Lets talk! Why are you all hiding??? We have a unique and very rarely used name. Somehow, in one way or another, we may be related. Purportedly, our name goes back to the Norman conquest (maybe we think the Saxons are still mad at us but I don't think so. smile) Would like to hear how the Henningtons in your part of the world might be connected. Sincerely, Glenn P. Hennington

OK you guys, we know you have a nice name and there are not many of you, so lets have some infomation on where you have been and where you have gone to.
I have a Susanah Henington or Hennington in Monroe Co. Alabama. Can't find a husband but has five children. Charles Hennington her son b1839 d1939 moved to Tx. with wife an Andress. His brother James Monroe Hennington b1849 d1929 married an Andress sister in Tx. I can't trace two of the brother's sisters from Alabama named Amanda and Virginia Hennington. Any help would be great! Bye the way, the third Hennington sister is my GGgrandmother, Mary Jane Hennington Gibson d1912 in Monroe Co. Alabama. Thanks!

My G-Grandfather was Henry Franklin Henington.B 1887 in Killeen, Bell Co.,TX. d 1970 in Cisco, Eastland co., TX.
I have no information on his parents other than names. (James Henington and Lula B Thompson). I do know that his father either died or left his mother and she re-married a man named PARMER. He had a brother, Tom, and a half brother, Travis Parmer. I am looking for information on the Henington ancestry.
Does any of your information refect these names?

Beverly, go to Henington on www.genforum and read all 12 of the posts. I now have some info on Francis Hennington, but read those first and email me. One of his grandsons died young and left small children. His widow could have remarried. Good luck!

Thank you so much. It is very interesting and one of the postings from B.Hennington sounds like it might be the key I need to unlock some information. I replied to his message and hope to find out more. I will share anything I find out. Thanks again.
