My grandfather was Charles Robert Holleman. He was born in 1902. I've have just started researching my family on my mother's side, and I would appreciate any help. thanks

My Fathers name is Alan Curtis Holleman he was born in 1951 He use to live in lansing Michigan In 1970. He was adopted by the Hollemans his birth last name was Byrd I Am looking for him because I was adopted I was born 8-31-70 in Lansing MI if anyone knows anything about him please respond

Could that name also be spelled Holeman and or Holman.From that area.

Oh Yes, the name is spelled so many different ways.
Hollyman, Holleman, Holliman, Hollman, Holeman, Holiman,
etc.

I have Holeman's in my line which part of them were in NC for part of the time.I am decendent from Isaac Holeman.

I'm sorry that this probably is going to be very helpful, but I'll tell you what I know about the Holleman's. Charles Robert Holleman was my grandfather. He was born in 1902. He died when my mother was very young. I believe his family was from Tenn. I don't anything about him. Helen and Charles, my grandparents had five children Charles, Robert, Dorothy, Hazel and Caroline.
They were all born around 1920. I do know that Charles had 7 sons, however I don't know their names. Best of luck to you.
