Charles married Anna (Annie)Weiss. They had 3 children, Sydney, Milton, and Joseph, all deceased. Charles was born in Hungary and immigrated to New York City where he had a plumbing story on St. Marks Place.Any info on him? He is my grandfather.

My late grandfather was Joseph Honig. He married Florence. I was told my family came from Yugoslavia, formerly Bohemia. I will try to find more information for you.

I don't know if your grandfather is related to me. I know that my grandfather was Charles Honig and he immigrated from Hungary to New York City and was born around 1882. Thank you for the reply. I will await to hear any more info.

My uncle, Joseph Honig, was born around 1914 in New York. He passed away when he was around 20.

My gt-grandmother,Josefa Honig, was from Aussig, a city in Bohemia. This area is in Czech Republic, former Czechoslavakia. She was born about 1865. I wonder if there is a connection.

Could Charles HONIG be related to Salomon Wolf HONIG? He was my grandfather, who was probably born in Hungary or Poland in the 1800's. He changed his name to WILDER. He died in Brody, Poland (now Ukraine) either before WWII or early on. He married Sime Bruche LINKER. They had many children, but the only one's I know of are my father, Isidor WILDER and a twin brother James who immigrated to the US. A sister, Regina and their mother were killed at Auschwitz.

If you have any information, please reply. I know nothing of my grandfather's siblings or parents.

My husband is the grandson of Pearl Honig, who was the sister of Charles Honig. I would like to find out more information about their father, Joseph, who I thought was from Breznia, Hungary.
