I'm trying to do a genealogy on my mother's family. I was told my grandfathers' (John Keoni Kaikaka) mother is Miram Keaweamahi Hu and her parents are Moke Kahoi Hu (father) and Keahemui Ohua (mother). If this is the same family could you please contact me with any information you may have.

My grandmothers name is Theresa Keliikinoikiwainee Hu (Hopfe). Her father was a Hu, but I am unsure of the first name. When he died my great-grandmother married a man whose last name was Hopfe. He adopted my grandmotther. When I talk to my grandmother again I will ask her for the names and let you know what they are. I know this isn't much help, but it's a start.

I also know they lived in Hilo.
