My wife's grandfather and grandmother were from Hrabusici, Czechoslo. His name was Stephen Jakubec and was born around 1883. Her name was Katherine Churney and she was born November 2, 1885. I don't know too much more, but let me know if the city sounds familiar, and I can do more research.

The spellings are somewhat different and some of the dates are different but I believe I am related to your wife. My Grandfather Joseph Churney (Curny) was born in Hrabusice. He had a sister named Katarina. I have her being born in 1894. I don't know the first name of her husband but the last name is Jakubic. They had three children that I know of, Ann, Tillie and Joseph.

Mike, it appears as though we are related.
What were your father's brothers/sisters names. I know of Martin only. Let me know and we can discuss further.
