Hi
I am just curious about what you know about the Jaso last name. I am searching for information about my grandfather who we did't know too much about because he died when my father was 2 years old.
My grandpa's name was George Jaso, and we know that he had relatives that were from Iowa. I understand that thier family was european, possibly norwiegen or scandinavian. Any info you may have on the Jaso surname would be helpful. Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback~
A lady that responded to me a few months ago also had family that was Sloviac. I don't know if my relatives are, though. Not too sure if the last name is spelled correctly.
Thanks again.

these are all my immediate family

I am David Jaso and I typed my name into a search engine and came to your request about my father, Gunter Jaso, my aunt, Sybille Walker, and her husband , James Walker. James and Sybille had two sons, NOT a son and daughter, they are Jeff and Shawn Walker. James and Sybille have passed away. Jeff Walker passed away 4 years ago. Shawn was married to a gal named Dawn, but I dont know much more than that currently. And my father divorced my mother Carolyn when I was about one years old. I am 28 now, my dad is 52. How do you know me and my family? Do you know anything about my mother Carolyn Brooks? I have never known her, but I want to find her. I am willing to help you fill in whatever gaps you need filled. I have a geneaology of my fathers side of the family going back to 1789. Please email me ASAP. Thank you.

Hi my name is John Jaso (i live in Australia)and replying to the person who said the heritage is European two schools of thought about the name because of immigration from the former Chechoslovakia in the 1770`s immigrated to Serbia in 1770`s becuase of religious intollerance also some people scholars say the name also have come from Argon region southern france/northern Spain which meant a lot of spanish speaking Jaso`s also in south America ?

regards john Jaso

P.S to the person who said their family came from Europe we had family members imigrate to the U.S.A (Chicago/New York ?)was your family member called Simon/Joseph ? may be came a place called Stara Pazova near Belgrade they left for the U.S in the 1920-1930`s ?
