Hi,
I was adopted 7/57 and saw my birth certificate only once
and saw a name Kadash, Kadush, ???. Any info
of a family giving child up for adoption?

Sorry. It is a hard name to find isn't it?

Hi. I am also a Kadash. 17 from Pennsylvania. It is hard to find any info on the Kadash name, and i do not have a family member who had given their child up for adoption. I have only a few connections with the Family on my fathers side. But if it hels i have learned that there are many of us. It just seems we are not computer junkies. :) i hope you find what you are looking for. And it may not be Kadash like you say. There are a few Kadish, family's around. you could try those. Good Luck
Barbara

To who ever may be a kadash.I'm not good with computers so hopfully i didn't send this to my self. I'm 23 and just moved to Va. I had a great grandmother named Josephine Kadash. All I know is that her parents were from chez. and that she married a man named Kadash of no relation in this country. My family is rather large and I know I'm related to the Kadashs in Chester, Pa.I have no way of contacting them. If you have any info please contact me. ndkadash@aol.com.

Hi Art: I am seeking very similar information with about as much success. I am 30 years old & my fathers name was Kadush I have found a few names and some information. I am wondering how old you are so I can compare the dates. My father was born in 1952. Best of luck on your search I hope to hear from you.

I am from NJ. I have found that there is another spelling for Kadash- Kadas Apparently, all the different spellings are due to Kadash ancestors not knowing english, and when they got processed via Elis Island, or wherever, they stated their names and the immigration authorities just wrote down whatever sounded correct. I've done a lot of research on the name, and only found mentions of it in Hebrew, and Russian Texts. Problem is there is know way to tell what is THE right way to spell my last name.
