the names Klawinski and Klavenski could have been an interpretors spelling error. My father was William Klavenski, and my grandfather was Julius Klavenski. My father was born 7/8/07 and don/t have dates for my grandfather. grandfather immigrated from Suwalki, Poland to Westfield, MA where my father was born.

My grandfather was John Klavenski and he was born on March 7, 1899 and he came from a large family from what I can remember my father saying about the relatives. My grandfather was one of 12 or 14 children. I do not know where he was born at but I believe it was on the North side of Chicago on Irving Park Road. I think he was born in a house not a hospital. He married Violet Rose Lohan(?) from the Peoria, IL area and she had a large amount of siblings also. My father is John Henry Klavenski born on June 26, 1925 and he has one sister Janet Weiglein (Klavenski). My father died on May 5, 1999.

My father was Henry Klawinski, his mother was Stella Suchecki and Father was Joseph Klawinski. I am trying to piece the family together as well. I would be Stella and Joseph's grandaughter from Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Surnames: Kalvin, Kalvinski,Klawinski, Klavinski, Kolassa, Bogacz, Muras
My great grandfather was Frank J Kalvinski/Klawinski Klavinski (spelling showed all 3 ways on official documents!) from Coldwater/Bronson, Michigan. Born Sep 1, 1880 -from death certificate cemetery tombstone shows birth date as July 30, 1879 as well as St Mary's church documents. He died May 15, 1913. He married Katherine Kolassa. She was born August 25, 1875 died July 1, 1962 in Bronson, MI. Their children were Edwin Kalvin(-changed from Klavinski Oct 1, 1929), Mary Francis & Pauline Josephine. My great great-grandfather John Klavinski/Klawinski was from Poland June 13, 1853 and died Oct 3, 1929. According to St Mary of the Assumption church records, it looks like John married Mary Ann Bogart (Bogacz) and later remarried Katherine Sikorski Oct 31, 1882. The 1920 census states that both Frank & Katherine were born in Michigan. Katherine states her parents were both from Poland as well. If you think we may be related, I would love to here from you! Thank you in advance, Maria

Am looking at the dates involved and I have a grandfather, John Klawinski, b. 1872 and d. 1952 with a wife of Mary, b 1876. d. 1952, but do not know her maiden name. They are in a cemetery in Anderson, TX. According to what I know, they had sons of Edward, Pete, Steve and Louis. Pete was my Father. It seems that John could be my great-grandfather. Just curious if there is a relation here.
