Andreas came in 1892 and Ida and children in 1894 to Sherman Texas. Have most of their descendants and willing to share. Andreas died in 1907. Ida in 1946. She and children sailed to U.S. in September, 1894 from Hamburg. Does anyone know parents of either Andreas or Ida? Against a brick wall.

I was married to a Korioth. His grandfather
was Joseph Korioth. At one time I had a lot
of genealogy on the Korioth's. However, in moving it was lost. I was sick. I have been trying to put it back together again for
my son. All this family came from Kiev Prussia. I will be willing to share my information with you if you think we are in the same line. My information is at home and I am not at this time. I will check as soon as I get home. Feel free to e-mail me. I do get my e-mail here.

Hope I can help you,

Jan

In January 1996, I put out a compilation of decendents of Andreas and Ida Haynes Korioth. The grand-parent, Joseph Charles Korioth, b. 2 Feb 1885 in Kiev Russia married Stella Marie Blakeslee on 4 May 1909. This should be enough to identify the same family. I tried with the help of Tootie Cook (Andrew's daughter) to collect information on as many of the descendents as possible. I missed you. If you had blood line Korioth children, really want to hear from you. Am attempting a supplement to give those who purchased the compilation. Time is marching on and I grow older, so would appreciate any information you can share and I would be most happoy to do the same. If you wish, write:
Shorty Baker, P.O. Box 472071, Garland, Texas, 75047-2071. Tootie passed away in 1999.

Mr. Baker,

I was most happy to recieve your e-mail. Yes, we are researching the same family.
I was married to William Blakeslee "Bill" Korioth, III. Bill was an only child. We married March 30, 1963. We divorced in 1974. We had one son Donald Gregory "Greg" Korioth b: March 18, 1969. Greg is sigle. Bill was remarried to a lady named Diane. His dad was, of course, William Blakeslee "Bill" Korioth. He had several brothers and sisters. Most lived in the Sherman area. I believe some were in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I will get in touch with my ex-mother-in-law and see if she may be of some help. She and Bill's dad divorced but remained friendly until his death. He nor she ever remarried. Bill and Diane have not had any children. Greg is his only child. I will see what other information I have and will pass it on. Would really like to have the information on the Korioth family for my son.

Please remember I am away from home at this time and it will take a while for me to get the information I have to you. Sorry for the delay.

Thank you very much.

Jan,
Donald's grandmother, Mary Enright, purchased one of the compilations from me. Surely, she would share the information with her only grandson. Thank you for answering the query. I now know where you fit in. Recently I discovered your genealogy on the internet. Am glad to be able to fill in the gap. If I can be of service, please write me. Shorty (female)

Sincerely,

Dearest Uncle Roger,

I couldn't believe it when I found this in-
formation. I've always been so interested
in our family history. Granny used to tell
me she had a picture of our family crest.
But she then couldn't find it in the attic.
When Robin Anne bought the house I asked
Aunt Pat if they found the family crest
but she said they did not.

I would love any information.

And I would love to know how you and yours
are getting along.

My e-mail is - Mkorioth@excite.com

Beth in California.

Mom lives across the street from me, and
is doing well. Still works everyday.

I hope everything is OK with you.

I love you - write me.

Take care,

Dear Mary,
Your sister in California has a copy of the Korioth book put out in 1996 by Margaret Korioth. Check with her on connections. Your grandfather, John, was a son of ole Andreas. Shorty
