Walt, I just saw some data you may be interested in, or at least a connection
for you. I'll need to go find it again.

In the meantime, maybe you can help me:

My quandry is the connection between my George and Jean. I believe there
to be a "Virginia Connection" that migrated to TN. My connection is Jane
Susannah LaFollette (b. 1819 in Sevier Co., TN) d/o George (b. abt 1780
in ???, and Elizabeth (Gann) b. 1793 in TN.
The information I have shows my George to be s/o Jeremiah, however I've
found no data on Jeremiah. Could there be a connection with the WVa
line?
Do you have data on this branch?

I have some information on the LaFollette's in Capon Bridge. I would love to share info. My grandfather (Guy LaFollette) was raised in that area, moving to Pennsylvania during the Depression.

You can contact me at the email address listed above, but I only check for messages every week or two.

Mike, your George L. is the son of my ancestor George spouse Jemimah (Minthorne). All I show for him is that he was married to Elizabeth Gann.

I descend from Joseph LaFollette who came to Ky by 1799 from New Jersey via way of Va. He had Va relations who stayed there and married. Also one of his grandsons founded LaFollette Tennessee as a iron ore mining town.
Every Lafollett I have found so far has been connected to the original Jean Lafollett who came to America with his sons, Joseph, Charles George

You might look at LaFollett Tennessee which was founded by I believe Grant LaFollett or that maybe the son. They were descendants of my Joseph LaFollett who settled in Ky by 1799, before going to In.
