Have seen Raimond as referred to as a Captain on the King's vessel, 1734. Would like to know more about it. Perhaps from St. Malo, Brittany or Vichy, France to Mobile Bay, Al. 1734.

Hi Felicia,

I received your message and your interest
in the material I have. I am not on the
internet but use my daughter's computer
when I come to visit.

I would need your address in order to send
the material as it is a number of pages which includes the information received from
french genealogist, going back to Noel
Coquelin in the 1600's. I also have material my daughter and I have gathered starting with some information on Raimond in the U.S. and continuing with my ascendants: 1. Louis; 2. Leon; 3. Emile; 4. Omer; 5. Noe O. Latiolais, my grandfather. Raimond took
the surname of his grandmother who was from
the town of Tiolais; the family name was
Coquelin, hence of the city of Tiolais was
added.
Again, I would like to share the information
if you are still interested but I would need
a way to get the information to you. Let me
know.

My husband is also a descendant of the above. I am surprised to hear that so many people have posted on the internet. We are from St. Martin Parish in Louisiana. On the Louis Latiolais and Julienne Bar (Barthe)? side. My husband's email is GJLatch if you would like more info although it seems you already have it.
