My name is Karen Brookfield and my maiden name is Marcolini. My father is Andrew Marcolini. His father and mother were Frank and Olga Marcolini (Zanni). All lived around Hillsboro, IL. My father is still living. I have a sister, Beth Marcolini (Paris) and a brother Randy Marcolini. My dad and grandpa were coal miners. My dad has 3 sisters and 1 brother. My grandpa had several brothers and sisters, some came to America and some stayed in Italy. They were around Pievepelago. I have some dates (birth, death, marr, etc.) and I would like to know your backround, as we don't go very far back. My grandpa's dad was Andre Marcolini.

That is very interesting information. Do you know who your father's father was? Or do you know who Rosea Gualtieri's parents were? Did Edward come straight from Italy?... to where?... My grandpa Frank (Francesco) came to Ellis Island on the White Star. We have as his brothers as Tony, Alberto, Alfredo, Pete, and sisters as, Maria, Sophia, Katherina, Theodora, and Caterina. What was your dad's full name? Do you know any other Gualtieri info? Thanks !!

Hello. My name is Lisa Marcolini Wallace. I am looking for anyone related to my grandparents Vincenzo (james) and Venicia (bernice) Marcolini. My grandfather came to the U.S with his cousin. He left his parents and 2 older sisters in Italy. He originally settled in PA and then in OH. Any information, please email me. Thanks.

Sorry,

Hello Robert, We find our relatives in the strangest places. Since this message is very old, I don't know if you have found any of the Marcolini clan. I found our grandfather, Quirino Marcolini on the Ellis Island Site. He was born in Trambilleno, Austria and came to the US May 26, 1913 at the age of 18. I believe he died in his early 40's. Let me know how your search has turned out. If I can fill in some blanks let me know.

I know these messages are quite a bit old, but I have been doing some research into my own family tree here in Massachusetts. I have been able to track the family back to Great Great Grand Pa Angelo Marcolin(a) as well as Great Great Grand Pa Giovanni Pederzoli and his wife Cesarina (Picceni). Apparently at some point the family here changed their name to Marcolini. All the Marcolina's in this area originally came from the village of Poffabro. If this info is helpful, I have some more names and dates.
