I am looking for the Massimino Family that lived in New haven and West Haven, Connecticut. Louis(Luigi) Massimino and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Klein/Kline/Clyne/Cline married Abt. 1910 in New Haven, CT. They had a son Jerome born about 1912. There may have been other children. Jerome married Gertrude/Geraldine Sullivan about 1930. They had at least one child, a son, Jerome who became a Catholic Priest born about 1932. Do you have any information on this family.

Unless he is a great great grandfather of mine we may have the wrong people,I think it is a coinidence. I can not locate my paper rght now but
Cosmo(Gus they called him) was from Palermo.
he came with his 2 twin brothers and 2 sisters. One sister and brother are still alive. Cosmo married Elenora. They had 4 girls. thats what I know off hand.
I do think that they are related but down the road they could be. I do not know Cosmos parents or grandparents.
If not good luck to you

Hi there,
was wondering if you have been able to get on that new site Ellis Island Record?
I was able to get on and I believe that my great father who was Joseph Massimino his Italian name was giusseppe. I thought he came to states with wife and kids (as I was told) but I may be wrong.
I found that his wife came later Im still searching. If I come across anything I will fill you in

I noticed a mention of a LaMantia in your post. I just found out yesterday that my gggrandmother had that name. Either from her first marriage. I believe her name was Josephine. She married a Santo DiCara eventually, but I know there were daughters from the first marriage. Do you think there is a relation?
