Hi Judith
I think we exchanged e-mails a couple weeks ago. I'm still looking for ancestors of James Ellis Millhorn b.1852 in Knoxville TN. I have been writing to William C. Millhorn Jr., 132 E. Walnut St., Argenta, IL 62501. He has an extensive ancestry tree going back to the early 1700's. Unfortunately he does not have access to a computer. He is trying to help me fill in my gaps and I know he would like to hear from you. Perhaps he has knowledge of some of the names you are looking for. It may be worth a letter to him.

My name is Robert R. Phillips and I have
Milhorn and Milhoans both on My mothers side
in Belmont County Ohio. I am willing to
share gedcoms if you are interested. My lines
lead back to George Melhorn and Simon Melhorn
from the ship "Recovery" that arrived in
Philadelphia PA>,in 1754.

I've been researching this name for over 28 years. Francis C. MELHORN was in Harper's Ferry, WV in 1833, and the removed to Washington DC before 1870. I also have some information on the Belmont OH Melhorn's. Would like to hear from you.

I have loads of Phillipses in my Milhon lineage, if you'd like to swap. I can't find when George Milhorn (married Mary Ann Helpbringer) moved to Belmont Co, with whom, or who their parents were. Any info cherished.

I have a big tree of these guys, because I thought they were mine. They're probably not, but you're welcome to the results of my research.
