Try Beaver County for her birth certificate.
My info is that the Minesingers (formerly Minnesinger) came by way of Italy to Philadelphia. (5 Brothers) and settled in Beaver County near Hookstown. If that info helps you I will be very glad.

My name is David Minesinger, My father is William David Minesinger. Our family is from lancaster county, pa in the 1850's. Would like to contact others with info about minesinger family's. With such an uncommon name. We have to be related somehow.

Unrelated. Lost an Uncle named LeRoy in about 1963. Found him in 2001. almost 40 years since his mother, brother ( my father ) or sister had heard or seen him.

Cal,
I have found some information on my Minesinger line from SW PA. My ancestor, Rosanna Elizabeth Minesinger, was born in Smiths Ferry, Beaver Co, but I have no idea who her parents were. She was born in 1789, and died in New Geneva PA in 1866 ( or 8 Mar 1860, as some info suggests). I believe her headstone is inscribed that way. Do you by chance, have any information as to who her parents were? She was married to Samuel Barnum, b. 1787 of New Geneva PA.

I, too, am looking for the parents of Rosanna Minesinger. Is it possible that they are John and Mary (Swearingen)?
Rosanna is my ggg grandmother and the wife of Samuel B. Barnum.
