Hi- I am a Faraci. My father is Richard Faraci, son of Sam & Lorene from Angola, New York. My grandfather is one of 13 kids of Charles & Mary Faraci. They originally came from a town outside of Palermo, Sicily. First they were in the New England area and migrated to Western New York.

How are you related? I hope to hear from you soon.

I am a Penza by marriage. My children are Julienne Penza and Michael Penza. My husband is Philip Penza; his father was Carlo Penza. the only genealogy I've found so far is Carlo's father James Penza; grandfather Panfilo Penza; and greatgrandfather Vincenzo Penza. Do we have any connections?

We are one set of many Mirabile's that settled in the Albany, NY area. My grandfather Joseph Mirabile was from the small town Bafia, outside of Messina, Sicily and he married Santa DePasquale from the same town. They emigrated in the 1920s, coming through Ellis Island. They had two sons: Dominick (deceased in 1942) and Anthony (my father).

My greatgrandmother was from Bafia, Italy. I don't know her maiden name. She was married to Natale Mirabile. They settled into Barre, Massachussetts and eventually into Ware, Mass. Their son, Santo J. Mirabile passed away in 1992. He was my grandfather.

No, I am not familiar with that family. Joseph Mirabile is quite a common name, so there are a lot of possibilities. My grandfather was Joseph too but he did not have any daughters, only two sons. I don't know if my grandfather had any siblings. Let me know if you find out!

My great grandfather is also Santo Mirabile a descendent of Natale Mirabile. I believe they are half brothers (with the same name). I believe my grandfather Alfonso Sr. had visited the family in Massachusettes at one time or another. Alfonso died in October of 1998. Any information you may have on our family would be great.
