Hello ALL fellow Italians! My mother inlaw who will be 80 this week is loooking for her family tree. Her mom's madien name is Mosca in her birth certificate, but she always refered it as Mosco. Her mom came right from Italy. Aserjia? ( I do not know the correct spelling of the town. it is pronounced A- sair- Ja ) Her first name was DOMENICA, she married a JOHN TACCA, also right from Italy. DOMENICA MOSCA was born on May, 10th, 1908. They lived in Dudly PA, where John TACCA was a miner. ( He died at age 23 in a mining accident in PA. ) DOMENICA came to America when she was 7 years old. ( So her daughter, my mother in Law, believes.) There are NO e mail addresses that I see on this message board ot contact anyone. Please E mail me @ My mom would like to find info on her father as well, TACCA, but this is proving difficult. DOMENICA MOSCA married an ANTHONY SCAPPA after her first husband died. ( Actually, BOTH Marriages were arranged for DOMENICA. JOHN TACCA was sent to her from Aserjia, ANTHONY SCAPPA was sent to her from ROME.) She had my mother in law when she was 4 months shy of 15.
Anyother information would be greatly apprecitiated! THANK YOU ......

As a frequenter of this site, I have made many entries in my own family's message boards. But to this one I came because I used to know a Mosco family - still trying to find them 18 years later. I had a childhood friend, April, who is now 25. She had a younger brother and sister as well. I know they were all born in Bradenton, FL and then moved to the vicinity of Miami...that's all I know. This was 18 years ago, and I'm still trying to find them. If this can help anyone in any way, or if you could help me find her-this would certainly put a mystery to an end.
