Hi Christine,

You may not remember me. I am Mark's daughter. I was looking at this site and found your post. I have a little information that may help you.

In my baby book, my mother recorded the following names: Alsace Lorraine Nicklow (NaNa) - Parents: Wilber Warren Nicklow & Leah Maria Searing.

Parents(?) of Wilber Nicklow: Samual Nicklow & Lidia Hughes.

Parents(?) of Leah Searing: Thomas Quinn & Sarah Elizabeth Searing.

It's not totally clear the way it is written.

I clearly remember being told that Leah was part Cherokee Indian, but I am not sure if it was on her mother's or her father's side. My Dad can't even remember. I also remember your aunt Lorraine having an old picture with one of the Searing women who married into the family of Abraham Lincoln. I don't know who has the picture now--maybe Tammy or Jill.

If you find out anything, I would be interested to know. Good Luck!

Hi Marie, of course I remember you. How have you been doing? Great I hope. I have divorced since I last saw you, at Bill's funeral.
Who would have guessed that you would be the one to have information. My Mom doesn't know much. Thank you so much sweetie. Do you get to see your Mom much, next time you see her be sure to tell her hello for me. I think of her often. Please e-mail me at tfrank@home.com so that I can tell you some dates. Do you have Tammy's phone #, can you let me know soon. Love, Christine

Classification: Query
Surnames: Nicklow
Hello Nichelle,

My name is Doug Nicklow. Dale and I were in the same class in HS. I have been researching the Nicklow family for a number of years and have Clifford as part of my database. His father is listed as William Nicklow, born 1887, died about 1956. I have Clifford listed as b:1915, d:May 27, 1987. He is also listed as having two brothers and four sisters, names unknown.

I maintain a web site at http://www.nicklow.com and am currently revising and updating information on that site. My email address is Doug@Nicklow.com ... please feel free to drop me a note. I would appreciate any information you can provide me, including dates, marriages, etc.
